Hotel indigo athens room1/17/2024 Cheryle came and checked on the bridal party the morning of to ask if we needed anything. Overall, Hotel Indigo was the best venue I could of asked for. We had open beer and wine with the option to pay for liquor if wanted- Meg had suggested that- such a good idea. We had 100 guests and everyone was very pleased at the service. Also can’t forget the bartenders… well guests might of… Just kidding… great customer service. Everyone was very prompt with email responses and even came down to the wedding area to say hello and make sure everything was going alright. Jessica and Meg were the event coordinators and both were great to work with. Everything can be customized which we loved. The food was amazing and we even got to eat it- both appetizers and meal (thanks to Cheryle). I decided to do the catering from Indigo as well. It was super easy, the area was set up perfectly and it was a quick and easy switch when it was time for the reception, plus our guest just went to the spacious bar area. I made the decision to have the ceremony downstairs in the Rialto Club (best choice I made). Originally I was going to do the ceremony outside in the courtyard but as you know March weather in Ga is not predicable. Cherlye was my wedding planner and she was great! She ironed out all the details beforehand, communicated with the other vendors, arranged flowers, made sure we ate, and kept the bridal party in line for the rehearsal. Plus the packages come with a wedding planner which makes it even easier. We got the sunrise buffet and it was DELICIOUS!!! I'm not a big breakfast person, but I enjoyed every bite! People kept talking about how good the food was and how wonderful it was to have a nice hot breakfast before heading home! I cannot even tell you in words what an amazing experience we had with this hotel and the people in it! I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Indigo for whatever even you are in town for! Read More She was kind and courteous always!! As for the rooms, amazing! Clean and beautiful! We also arranged a brunch the morning after the wedding in the art gallery downstairs. It was apparent that it was a busy weekend at the hotel, but not once did she ever make me feel like she was "too busy" to help. She made sure the rooms were exactly as we wanted, helped us with early check in, handled getting all the hotel guest boxes to the rooms for their arrival, and even helped me with extra tables and whatever we needed! She was only a phone call away and was extremely prompt, responsive and very kind. Not only did she help me with this, but also all of the family suites/rooms I had to book and kept it all organized! I also would highly recommend finding Leigh!! She was Ah-mazing as well! She was so attentive, and made us feel even more special on the big wedding weekend. Abby also hooked me up with additional attached/or close by rooms for the additional bridesmaids and groomsmen. The entire bridal party was able to get ready for the big day in these. We had the baby blue baby grande piano as the bridal suite (which was HUGE) and we had the billiard room (complete with putt putt green and full kitchen as well) for the grooms suite. Ough in all of the planning! We also chose this hotel because of the FABULOUS suites they have.

Jules euphoria lines1/17/2024 Now it sort of makes me want to watch teen shows that have actual teenagers in them, just to see the comparison between acting skills and style. While this isn’t necessarily new for anyone out there – we all know that teen dramas often use adult actors – it’s still interesting to see the comparison of ages. She's the narrator who is unsure of herself so the audience never really gets a chance to see how Jules feels about her. Cassie, a bad actress (played by Sydney Sweeney, a great actress ), tries to lie, but it quickly becomes apparent to everyone in the room that the secret is true. However, Reid is now twenty – and slowly inching her way up the line with the rest of her co-stars of not being an actual teen on a teen drama. The attraction between Jules and Rue was evident from the start but for the most part, it's only shown from Rue's perspective. When the show originally filmed before its 2019 premiere, Reid was much closer to her character in age, who is only 14, as she was sixteen when the show came out. The Primetime Emmy Award-winning show, Euphoria highlights real-life obstacles involving drugs, sexual insecurities, and anxiety for the future. 23 'I Feel Like I've Framed My Entire Womanhood Around Men.' Jules Vaughn 'Part Two: Jules' Euphoria Special Episode Due to the long gap between seasons 1 and 2, creator Sam Levinson released two special episodes centered around Rue and Jules, giving Jules one of the best Euphoria quotes. She plays Gia Bennett, Rue’s little sister. During one of their sessions, Elliot poses this question and Rue gives him a very real and honest response. Jules is apprehensive and terrified of Nate. 'Tyler' and Jules finally meet, shortly after Jules realizes DominantDaddy is Cal Jacobs. Over a series of days, the two trade dreams and fears, become more intimate and even sexting. The young actress has been in Hollywood for some time, appearing in projects such as When They See Us, The Invisible Man, Don’t Let Go and more, and in 2023, she had a guest role as Riley on The Last of Us. Elliot and Rue join the list of non-romantic relationships in Euphoria this season, the two typically doing drugs whenever they decide to hangout. He creates an online persona, ShyGuy118 or 'Tyler' and romantically pursues Jules, making her fall in love with him. (Image credit: HBO) Storm Reid (Gia Bennett): Actor Age – 20, Character Age – 14

Once we established which products met our expert criteria for our Healthy Beauty Awards, we had a group of more than 70 judges actually test out more than 1,000 products over the course of a few weeks. And on the opposite side of the spectrum, when it comes to drier hair types, products that provide optimal moisture are key ingredients like shea butter, argan, jojoba, olive, and avocado oils, which work well to keep dry scalp and hair hydrated. If you have dandruff, our experts suggest looking for products with exfoliating ingredients, like salicylic acid or glycolic acid. Natural or textured hair types should opt for products that help keep strands as hydrated as possible, since natural hair can be prone to dryness, breakage, and damage as well as some unique types of hair loss.Īnyone who deals with excess oil can benefit from shampoos and conditioners that can gently cut down on oil, but also moisturize to avoid drying your hair out. Omnigraffle 5.01/17/2024 There’s also a tools palette that can be anchored to the top of the active window or float. Gone are the 18 or so floating palettes, and in their place are three (effectively tabbed), palettes that share 15 panes between them: easier to keep track of, if not as fast for power users. The big interface bugbear of the last version has been trimmed at a stroke. Version 3 was good, but version 4 shows how much more ease of use can be squeezed out of an application if you really try. OmniGraffle Pro is a superb charting and diagramming application, designed to provide right-brain functionality for left-brained people. Not all Mac users class themselves as right-brained designers, video editors, or graphics people. Omnigraffle Professional 4 Wednesday 16th November, 2005 Keep up the great work on the blogs.Dyce & Sons | Omnigraffle Professional 4 Dyce & Sons Ltd. I don't use Visio all that much, so running in it Fusion works for me, but I'm always looking for ways to slowly switch to native Mac apps when it makes sense. Anyways, I'm also searching for the same 2 replacement apps you are: Visio and OneNote. The lack of solid multi-monitor support is definitely annoying me right now. Once Fusion hits 2.0, I'll be really productive. I then run individual VMs for each client. I keep one VM (actually it's my Boot Camp partition) that runs my SQL Server database as well as my source control system. I'm still amazed I can run 2 Windows virtual machines simultaneously with OS X with negligible hit to performance. I live and breathe in Visual Studio on a daily basis, so I'm still very much a Windows guy, but I would rather die than switch back to a PC laptop. It's clearly the best Windows laptop I've ever owned. I was a diehard PC/Windows fan until last October when I got myself a sweet, new 17" MacBook Pro as my primary machine. I read your article from a few days ago and kept shaking my head in agreement. For things like this, I've found that Visio is faster than OmniGraffle, but that is the only issue I've ever had with OmniGraffle. You need a top end processor and at the very least 2 GB of RAM to get OmniGraffle to work effectively with documents larger than about 11" x 17". One caveat though, is that I do poster presentations at conferences from time to time, and have found that for poster size documents, OmniGraffle can really suffer a slow down. I regularly get compliments from my colleagues on the design and appearance of the figures in my documents. I use OmniGraffle regularly for making figures and diagrams for research articles, and complicated images for use in Keynote for talks and lectures when what I need is beyond the built in tools in Keynote. And for some strange reason, they always say "I wish I could do that on Windows", not realizing that they can do all they need on a Mac, and do it faster and easier. whip out something that looks better and is clearer and easier to understand than what they've been working on all day. I just fire up my Mac, pop open OmniGraffle, and in 10 - 20 min. I'm in academics, and I've repeatedly seen fellow researchers who use Windows struggle with the complexity of Illustrator or Freehand to make figures for their research manuscripts and had to laugh. :) I've been using OmniGraffle since v3 and it is the single best graphic application I've ever used. Glad to see another individual recovered from The Collective.

Age of hurricane schwartz1/17/2024 The climate and extreme weather affect almost every aspect of our lives, yet the only scientist that many people encounter daily is their favorite TV meteorologists. Science doesn't only belong in conferences and textbooks. The Weathermaker is a 2020 SUNNY Award winner! Plus, 40 years on TV has given him lots of “inside TV news” stories. The added bonus is that the author is a meteorologist, and the science is accurate. There is also evidence that controlling nature can lead to disaster ( Jurassic Park). It shows the tragic aspects of climate change (like The Day After Tomorrow) and “the cure is worse than the disease” ( Snowpiercer). The Weathermaker is a “cli-fi” genre-bending thriller, with the action aspects of Twister. On the other hand, lawsuits, criminal charges, and even death threats follow his actions. The military and organized crime want to use him, too. The most famous actress in Hollywood seduces him so he will do the latter. Neil is torn between preventing disasters that save the insurance industry billions and saving lives from drought in Africa. Preventing floods in one country might lead to drought next door (“They stole our rain!”). Being able to prevent some of those disasters sounds great, but… weakening one hurricane in the Atlantic could strengthen a typhoon in the Pacific. The latest science shows that extreme weather has increased in frequency and severity due to climate change. During a snowstorm that isn’t producing as much snow as predicted, Neil discovers his gift: he can make the snow increase or decrease and make it start or stop raining. He is already a rising star TV meteorologist in Baltimore. Neil Stephenson can control the weather-but should he?

Also in 2005, Sharp released her third solo album, Fine Upstanding Citizen, through Koch, produced by Brad Jones. That same year, Sharp served as a vocalist and session musician on Everything Waits to be Noticed, a trio album with Art Garfunkel and Buddy Mondlock for EMI Manhattan Records. In Khura'in, Wright is essentially knocked down to the lowest rung of the social ladder, and, thanks to a government act that states attorneys must suffer the same sentence as their clients, every case is literally a life-or-death situation. While this new setting mostly justifies SoJ's slightly fan service-y angle by reuiniting Phoenix with his former assistant, Maya, it also gives him a formidable challenge after winning a dozen harrowing, high-stakes cases in his home country of Kinda-Sorta-America. To keep things fresh, Spirit of Justice drops Phoenix into the land of Khura'in, a vaguely Chinese country where lawyers are hated, and all murder cases are decided by the means of an ancient ritual that displays the victim's final moments from their perspective. Those hoping Ace Attorney would evolve beyond the fairly simple interactions of its predecessors-as Takumi's great Ghost Trick did-may feel a little let down by Spirit of Justice, but if you're looking for a collection of complex, satisfying murder mysteries told via the series' trademark anime melodrama and unbelievably believable plot twists, it doesn't get much better than this. While it's couched in the reliable mechanics and rhythms fans of Phoenix Wright know and love, these elements are delivered with a degree of confidence that's been missing since the original trilogy's finale. Even though Capcom has done an admirable job of keeping the Ace Attorney fires burning, the games to follow the original trilogy have mostly struggled to form their own identity, or prove their worth as more than just works engineered to capitalize on something else's popularity.Īfter close to a decade of trying to figure itself out, Ace Attorney's latest (and sixth) installment, Spirit of Justice, represents a true return to form for the series. Phoenix Wright and 2013's Dual Destinies-the latter of which mostly serves as an informal "back to basics" reboot for the series. But in the video game industry, nothing with a notable degree of popularity can ever truly die, so after a few games spent sitting on the sidelines, Phoenix found himself headlining once again in 2012's Professor Layton vs. Series creator Shu Takumi originally intended to wrap up the series as early as 2004 with its third game (released here for the DS in 2007), which did an excellent job of closing the book on Phoenix Wright and friends. Some content, such as this article, has been migrated to VG247 for posterity after USgamer's closure - but it has not been edited or further vetted by the VG247 team.Īce Attorney has certainly traveled a long, strange road during its 15 years of existence.
